Century High School

Completed just before the turn of the century, Pocatello's newest high school first opened its doors in September 1999. Inspired by the timing, officials dubbed the new facility Century High School. That same year, major additions and renovations were completed at the city's other two high schools, namely Highland High School (1963) and Pocatello High School (1892).

Century is the first impressive building north-bound travelers will see from the interstate as they enter city limits. Situated on the south edge of town, Century stands on highly visible real estate east of I-15. Gorgeous mountains form the perfect backdrop for this educational monument.
