The major shopping district lies along the zig-zag border between Pocatello and Chubbuck where development of an impressive 67-acre shopping plaza is nearing completion. Dubbed Pocatello Square, the city is heartily welcoming major retailers to this award-winning real estate development including Lowe's Home Improvement Center, Ross Dress for Less, and Bed Bath & Beyond.

Just west of Pocatello Square and adjacent to a Wal-Mart SuperCenter is Cobblestone Creek, a charming shopping strip that features a Sierra's arts and crafts store, TJ Maxx, Shoe Carnival, Great Clips, Down East Outfitters, and IHOP.

Across the street from all this shopping is the Pine Ridge Mall, home to five major department stores and numerous boutiques. Flanking the mall are Carmike Cinemas' state-of-the-art Pine Ridge 10 (next to Home Depot) and money-conscious counterpart Carmike 7 movie theaters. Breneman Square, a shopping strip anchored by PETCO and bordered by Fazoli's is positioned just north of the mall.
