Old Town Pocatello

Old Town Pocatello is the city's historic downtown district—a fascinating mix of form and function. In the few blocks of real estate that make up Old Town, you'll find unique shops and cafés, major commercial buildings, Pocatello's first high school, inspiring religious architecture, and historic residences including the famous (and some say haunted) 1901 Standrod Mansion. A great place to relax is downtown's Simplot Square, a charming fountained plaza on real estate donated to the city by J.R. Simplot in 1989.

Free parking is available in a public lot located at 200 North Union Pacific Avenue, marked on the map below. Street parking is also free throughout the historic district, though most areas enforce a two-hour time limit (indicated on signs).
